Center — Berģi

/ For those who want to see the life of the city /

The route starts in Old Riga, at the intersection of Smilšu iela and Z.A. Meierovica Bulvāris, then goes through the Bastion Park on Reimersa iela, and then through the Esplanade Park overlooking Skolas iela.

The next turn you need to take is to the left on Stabu iela. Go to Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela — Zirņu iela — Senču iela — Brīvības iela and turn right on Šmeiļa iela and then on Sergeja Eizenšteina iela. You will find yourself in the Riga Motor Museum. This automobile museum is in the TOP 30 best technical museums in the world and in the TOP 5 in Europe.

Returning to Brīvības iela, go straight — you will see the Ethnographic open air museum. Check it out if you are curious about how the country lived in the time of the 16th – 19th centuries. Entire residential and economic buildings of peasants, fishermen and artisans were transported here from all over Latvia.
