Monbontacos
The first French taco restaurant in the Baltic States has opened in the heart of Riga. Does such a restaurant even exist, you ask? Yes, and for quite a while now. This variation of the Mexican dish has been popular in France for the last 20 years.
Actually, this taco is more like a quesadilla or panini. At Monbontaco, you’re invited to choose the size of the tortilla and make it with ingredients to your liking: meat, fish or vegan fillings. Season with sauces, vegetables or cheese, and determine the degree of spiciness.
When you go for your perfect French taco, don’t look for flashy interiors in the windows. The restaurant is an aesthetically pleasing, bright space full of “air”, where the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower and the name “Mon bon tacos” remind you of France.
NBHD selection: classic tacos with falafel, grilled vegetables and guacamole.
