Divi Krasti

Divi Krasti—two residential buildings in Ķengarags neighbourhood in Latgale suburb. How is the economy class housing on the bank of the River Daugava organised?

The residential complex, whose name translates as “Two Banks”, was finally commissioned in 2021. Kreisais krasts (“Left Bank”) was completed at the end of 2020. Already in November 2020, the construction of Labais krasts (“Right Bank”) started and was completed by the end of 2021.

Layouts and Amenities

Each of the two buildings has five floors and houses 66 flats: two-, three- and four-bedroom flats ranging in size from 33 m² to 74 m². Divi Krasti has a total of 132 flats. Each flat has its own balcony and the ground floor flats have terraces with access from the living room.

All flats have improved sound insulation. The apartments on the top floors have a view of the River Daugava.

All flats were delivered with high quality and laconic finishes in neutral colours, which could be chosen from three options. The bathrooms (depending on the type of flat) have a shower or a bathtub, and the four-room flats also have a second bathroom.

The gated area includes a car park and secure parking spaces for bicycles and prams.

On the 1st floors of the buildings there are spacious lobbies for meeting neighbours. There are also storage rooms of various sizes—from 1.8 m² to 3.5 m².

Infrastructure

The Ķengaraga promenāde is located next to the house, along which you can reach the Old Town by bicycle or electric scooter.

Within walking distance of Divi Krasti are shops, market, restaurants and cafes, as well as Akropole shopping centre with an ice rink and cinema.

It is already convenient to get to Riga city centre, Bauska, Ogre, Sigulda or Vecaki by car. When the construction of the motorway on the South Bridge is completed, it will be possible to leave Riga just as quickly, travelling towards Jurmala and Jelgava.

Energy Efficiency

The buildings have class A energy efficiency. A comfortable microclimate in the flats is ensured by electric floors in the bathrooms, large triple-glazed windows and natural ventilation.

According to Kaamos, thanks to technical and construction solutions, heating costs are on average only 5.5–10% of the total annual utility costs.
