Address: Ojāra Vācieša ielā 8
Poēzija, currently under construction in Torņakalns, offers low-rise housing with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency, sustainability and green surroundings. It is Kaamos’ fifth residential development in Riga and the first in this part of the city, underscoring the growing significance of the capital’s left bank.
Location & Territory
Located at Ojāra Vācieša iela 8, Poēzija is set in a quiet part of Pārdaugava, within the green, low-rise neighborhood of Torņakalns. The project is close to Māras Pond and Arkādija Park, while also benefiting from proximity to the livelier and more vibrant Āgenskalns: the popular Āgenskalns Market is just a 17-minute walk away.

The property will feature landscaped recreational areas for families, walking paths, a children’s playground and parking for bicycles and strollers. Car owners will have access to above-ground parking, with the option to install electric vehicle charging stations. In total, 37 parking spaces will be available, of which 10 can be set up for charging.
The design prioritizes preserving the existing greenery, retaining nearly all mature trees and adding new plantings. This thoughtful landscaping is intended to maintain a sense of privacy and seclusion, even after all residents move in.

Layouts & Amenities
The two three-story buildings of the Poēzija development are carefully integrated into the surrounding urban landscape. The project offers 49 apartments ranging from 41 to 106 square meters, with two-, three-, and four-room layouts. Prices start at €121,100 and go up to €278,600, and at the starting point of sales, more than a third of apartments have already been sold.

Floor plans are designed to maximize natural light, with large windows (corner units also feature corner windows) and ceiling heights of 2.8 meters. Apartments on the second and third floors include balconies, while most ground-floor units have private terraces that open onto a landscaped inner courtyard, creating a more seamless transition between private and communal space.

Both buildings are equipped with storage rooms, elevators and video surveillance. All apartments are delivered fully finished, ready for immediate move-in. Future residents can choose from four interior design options, all in calm, Scandinavian-inspired light tones.
The layouts prioritize functionality, avoiding unnecessary corridors and walk-through spaces.

Energy Efficiency
Poēzija is being developed as a near-zero-energy project. The buildings have an A-level energy efficiency rating and are equipped with 20 kW solar panels to help offset part of the overall energy consumption. Each apartment will have individually controlled underfloor heating and a ventilation system with heat recovery function, reducing both utility costs and carbon emissions. Additional features include triple-glazed windows, modern electrical systems and advanced fire safety systems, reflecting the project’s strong focus on modern energy-efficient living.

Infrastructure
One of Poēzija’s main strengths is its location. The area is well-equipped with schools, kindergartens and convenience shops. While the setting offers a sense of seclusion, it remains well connected: central Riga is just over a 30-minute walk away, and a tram stop is only a few minutes from the development.

For those already accustomed to life on the left bank of the Daugava, the location offers familiar convenience: everything is close at hand, and Old Riga is easily accessible. Poēzija is also situated near the emerging Latvian University Academic Center, which is set to further boost the area’s importance in the years ahead.

Project Team
Poēzija is being developed by the Estonian company Kaamos, known in Riga for projects such as MOHO GARDEN, MOHO PARK, Divi Krasti and Ābeļziedu terases. This is the company’s fifth residential project in Latvian capital.
The architectural concept was created by the Tectum architecture office team, led by architect Uldis Bērziņš.
Construction is being carried out by Kaamos Construction, the developer’s own construction company.
