MILS. BAKERY & BREAKFAST
Let’s start with a trump card: you should come here at least once in your life for their legendary cottage cheese pancakes. There are six of them in one serving: all airy, light and decorated with berries. They leave no room for imagination or temptation.
The breakfast menu also includes toast, pancakes, shakshuka, French omelette, granola, croissants with avocado, Belgian waffles, grits and pancakes with salmon. The way the restaurant works is that you try everything, find your favourite dish and come back for it again and again.
There’s also a shop with interesting products (we recommend the Italian pastries), its own cookery shop and a bakery. There is also a delivery service, where you can order from the shop or from the breakfast menu.

LOWINE
Lowine is spacious, bright and really tasty.
The brunch menu is varied, with egg dishes, toast, pancakes and porridge. You should try the scrambled eggs with stracatella and ham (served with a bun and butter), the American pancakes with salmon and avocado or the toast with roast beef and mustard.
Open from 08:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 on weekends.

KATKEVICH
For lovers of homemade bread and butter, there’s a great place in the Latgale area. It is a small, cosy place with its own bakery and the bread is baked with love and experience.
The menu features typical sandwiches with freshly baked bread, hummus, goat’s cheese and caramelised butter. There are also several types of salad, a large so-called farm-to-table breakfast and even French onion soup.
Breakfast starts at 09.00 (10.00 on Sunday) and is served until 17.00.

SPACE FALAFEL
A small restaurant with modern Israeli cuisine, a cool interior and a pleasant atmosphere. It’s also a great place for brunch—not as crowded during the day as in the evening, when Space Falafel becomes one of the most popular bars in town.
The menu includes classic dishes (hummus, babaganoush, shakshuka) as well as chicken shawarma, lamb kebabs, sabih, steak and falafels in freshly baked hot pita.
