Zefīrs 

Zefīrs is located in a former marshmallow factory near Skonto Stadium. The industrial environment creates an unusual hipster place: concrete floors, graffiti on the walls, music and noisy companies of youngsters. In the evening light bulbs are lit here and the atmosphere becomes a little different.

In summer evenings, the terrace of Zefīrs is one of the most fashionable, noisy and popular places in the city. It seems that the whole of Riga gathers here to listen to DJ sets, eat pizza and drink craft beer, wine or cocktails.

Palette is a small kiosk-bar, lurking behind low birches in the garden covered with wild grass right in the middle of Riga. Daria is responsible for this creative space — she is the creator and hostess of Palette. Here they pour cocktails and good wine while also treating guests with tapas – each day is different.

This bar is located in a unique location for the center of Riga — a public garden where you can rent a garden space, plant herbs or vegetables and grow them. The gardens are located in the former territory of a sports complex.

The perfect place to sit on a hot sunny day under an umbrella and chat with friends over a glass of something cheerful. In the summertime, there are many flowers and trees around, and this creates an indescribable atmosphere of the garden in a country house.

Tējo Tea House

This cute Japanese-style tea house is located in the park next to the city canal. Large panoramic windows offer a delightful view of the city canal with a fountain, Latvian National Opera, the station square and Barona Street.

There are two floors, a tea room with a lounge bar and private kitchen. Come here for tea recipes from all over the world and freshly roasted locally produced coffee. And also — try pastries and cakes.

There is also a bar with craft beer, wine, snacks and cocktails — all of this is most pleasant to try outside while sitting in the grass. That’s the moment you understand what true relaxation is.

AQUA LUNA

On Fridays and Saturdays AQUA LUNA becomes the best place for enjoying the nightlife of Riga. But during the daytime it is very nice to come by for lunch or a cocktail.

AQUA LUNA is located in the fashionable neighborhood of Andrejosta on the very bank of river Daugava. It offers a beautiful view of the water and pier with yachts.

During the night time there are DJs performing here. During summertime, the restaurant has many customers so it’s worth booking a table in advance.

Zuzeum Rooftop Terrace

The roof terrace of Zuzeum is a green island at the center of Riga. And this stylish and spacious terrace is perfect for greeting the sunset, partying or even doing yoga (summer classes are held here).

Le Dome Summer Terrace

Le Dome restaurant offers an exquisite French-accented kitchen and a stunning view of the old citys cathedral and roofs. Particularly beautiful panorama opens from the roof of the summer terrace of the restaurant (it works from April to October).

Order a glass of white wine and olives with grissini, as well as fish or seafood — they are especially good here.

Andalūzijas Suns

The cozy terrace of this restaurant is located in the heart of Berga bazārs square. Have a peak here on a hot summer day to drink a delicious cocktail. The bar is unique in its collection of gins — there are more than 50 of them from different countries.

Tables here stand right on the street — under a large chestnut tree, which blooms beautifully at the end of May. This place is perfect for leisurely conversations with friends or evenings for two. If it gets cold — take a blanket and continue talking about the important and not so important.

And, of course, “Andalūzijas Suns” is super dog-friendly so take your pets — they even have a special menu.

Paviljons Ziedoņdārzs

The windows of this cafe overlook a pleasant park landscape. Menu includes dishes from seasonal products from Latvian home producers and farmers. Every day fresh bread is baked here and homemade sauces are prepared.

Come here for a stylish interior, delicious cuisine and homely atmosphere. We highly recommend trying the dessert.

But this is not only a place where you can dine, celebrate a holiday or grab a cocktail. In Paviljons Ziedoņdārzs you can see the works of Latvian artists and see a concert or performance.

Annas Dārzs

Annas dārzs makes you feel like you’re in a country house: fenced green space, woven furniture, flowers, pleasant shadows from trees. This is a fabulously beautiful place where it is pleasant to spend time with a glass of wine, lunch or dinner. There is a special lunch menu until 15:30 (on weekends until 14:30). Run in for the soup of the day — it’s always top notch here.

This place doesn’t need a name Summer Garden

This small and cozy courtyard among residential buildings in the Brasa neighborhood opens only for the summer season. Woven furniture, flowers, and light bulbs give a special charm to the summer garden.

Wine list of “This place doesn’t need a name” is extensive — just come early and try. Great place to leisurely gossip with your friends.
