LATVIA TAKES HISTORIC STEP TOWARD ITS FIRST ARCHITECTURE LAW
The government has approved the draft Architecture Law and sent it to the Saeima. In development since 2006, the long-awaited legislation would set standards for architectural quality and regulate architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning.

SECOND DUCK REPUBLIK STUDENT RESIDENCE OPENS IN RIGA
The €14.5 million residence offers 211 fully furnished apartments and 261 beds, with more than 800 m² of shared spaces for studying, sports and leisure. It is Duck Republik’s second student residence in Riga.

FOUR POINTS FLEX BY SHERATON TO OPEN FIRST HOTEL IN LATVIA

RSU OPENS NEW SPORTS COMPLEX

A 600 M² FOREST APPEARS IN CENTRAL VILNIUS
The monumental mural “Bukantės miškas” transforms a building wall next to Žemaitė Square into an extension of the surrounding park. Created by artist Liuda Jaruševičiūtė Stankevičienė, the artwork changes with the seasons as real trees become part of the composition.

€20 MILLION CARE RESIDENCE DEVELOPMENT PLANNED IN ĀGENSKALNS
Adoro has acquired four buildings in Āgenskalns and plans to develop them into care residences, investing €20 million in the project. Previously, EIKA had planned to develop a co-living project on the site. The new development will combine accommodation with care and social services.

VILNIUS BEGINS CONSTRUCTION OF NEW GYMNASIUM
The €23.5 million school in northern Vilnius will accommodate 480 students and include a stadium, sports courts, outdoor classrooms and community spaces. Designed by Architektūros linija, the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
