CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON PĒTERSALA QUARTER IN RĪGA’S QUIET CENTRE

Merko mājas has started building the Pētersala residential quarter at Pētersalas iela 3 and 5. This project features four buildings—two restored historical structures and two modern additions—offering a total of 105 apartments. Prices starting at €136,000, scheduled for completion by summer 2028.

INVEGO LAUNCHES SECOND STAGE
OF VĪTOLU PARKS DEVELOPMENT

Invego has started the second phase of the Vītolu Parks project in Sarkandaugava, located between Mežaparks and Skanste. This stage adds two seven-story buildings with 90 A-class energy-efficient apartments. Prices start at €122,900, complex expected to be ready for residents in 2026.

BONAVA TO DEVELOP MŪKUSALAS PAGALMI IN PĀRDAUGAVA

Bonava Latvija is set to begin construction this summer on the Mūkusalas pagalmi residential project located at Skaistkalnes iela. The large-scale development will eventually consist of eight buildings with 558 energy-efficient apartments, scheduled for full completion by 2034.

COMPETITION RESULTS

The architectural firm Vincents won first place in the interior design competition for the Rīga Radio and Television Station (RRTS) with their project XIX919. Their vision modernizes the iconic tower’s public spaces while preserving historical elements, creating an educational and high-tech environment.

CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON GRĪZIŅKALNS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Rīga has started building the community-driven Laiks tirgum Grīziņkalnā project. This initiative transforms the Pērnavas and Jāņa Asara intersection into a market square featuring restored historical elements. The revitalized space, with custom seating,
is scheduled for completion by autumn 2026.

ESTONIA’S LARGEST AMBULANCE CENTER OPENS IN LASNAMÄE

Tallinn has opened the nation’s largest ambulance support center in Lasnamäe to improve emergency response times. The 860 m2 facility accommodates ten crews and fifty staff members. It features specialized equipment maintenance, storage, and modern personnel areas.
