Baltic Beach Hotel & SPA
This complex is currently the only certified medical SPA in Latvia. Here you can try more than 300 procedures: from the famous wraps with therapeutic muds to gold massage and vacuum underwater massage. The specialty of this SPA is a large swimming pool (25 m) with sea water. Various treatments using therapeutic mud from Ķemeri as well as bathing rituals are also available here.
Baltic Beach Hotel & SPA is located on Jūras street 23/25 in a unique modernist building built in 1977–1981. Previously, the hotel had the Latvian name Rīgas jūrmala. The cascade of terraces resembles a huge sea liner — such an architectural solution seems very appropriate in the resort area.
There are several restaurants on the territory of the hotel complex, where everyone can find something to his taste: sea urchins, swordfish steak, burger with venison cutlet and several dozens of other dishes. Check the hotel’s website for details.
Hotel Jūrmala SPA
Among the large range of spa services at Hotel Jūrmala SPA you can choose the most original ones — how about a chocolate ritual for face and body, or a ritual with linden flowers? There is also an aromatic pearl bath, soy candle therapy, a special health capsule with peeling and even amber therapy: first your body is peeled with fine amber powder and then massaged with amber pieces.
You can try it all at Hotel Jūrmala SPA on Jomas iela 47/49. You can learn more about SPA procedures on their website.

Resort rehabilitation centre Jaunķemeri
The website of this rehabilitation center honestly says that in terms of comfort they are not a four-star SPA hotel, but their main goal is the quality of medical services and solving patients’ problems. Here you can undergo special rehabilitation courses with or without accommodation at rather low prices.
The procedures use therapeutic mud and sulphur waters from Jūrmala. Mud baths are taken in accordance with the established traditions of the Ķemeri Resort: 40 kg (3 buckets) of prepared mud is placed in a 200-liter bathtub and filled with mineral water. The mud is mixed with water and the temperature in the bath is 38-39 °C.
In addition, there are therapeutic baths with bromine mineral water, which is extracted from a 991.4 meter deep well on the territory of Jaunķemeri. You can also try sulphurous mineral water for drinking — it comes from a 14-meter deep well.
