IMANTA SHOPPING CENTER REDEVELOPMENT IS UNDERWAY
Demolition works are taking place as the existing shopping center and its surrounding area are being transformed. Key new additions will include a Lido restaurant, set to open in early summer next year, and an Apollo Kino cinema, planned for the end of 2027.

MEMORIAL GARDEN OPENS IN ZOLITŪDE
The new 0.8-hectare memorial garden was created by ALPS Landscape Workshop, H2E and Copywriter/Levelup. It features the Hill of Silence, cherry trees, a reflective water feature and 54 mirrored steel spheres commemorating the victims.

LITHUANIA OPENS BALTICS’ FIRST CELL THERAPY CENTER
Northway Group has invested €61 million in a 3,500 m² facility as part of the BIO CITY III development. It will support biotech and pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and research institutions. The center has already secured its first customers and contracts.

THE FINAL SILVAS NAMI BUILDING IS COMPLETE
The 7-story building features 64 apartments with an A+ energy efficiency rating and has officially received its commissioning approval. Due to high demand, the original 4-building complex was expanded into a 6-building neighborhood in Purvciems near Biķernieku forest.

VILNIUS PLANS TO REVIVE ABANDONED NERIS RIVERSIDE SITES
The city is considering new uses for several sites along the Neris, including a former rowing base, Winter Port and a neglected boat hangar. The plans will focus on previously developed areas while preserving the natural features that have emerged there over time.

CLEANR INDUSTRY TO INVEST €3.3 MILLION IN SORTING CENTER UPGRADE
The sorting center in Riga will be significantly automated to reduce manual work and improve the quality of sorting. The upgrade is expected to be completed by mid-2027, while the center will remain operational during the works. It currently sorts more than 30,000 tons of packaging annually.

NEW OUTDOOR SPORTS FACILITY AT RĪGAS ZIEPNIEKKALNA SECONDARY SCHOOL
The facility is open to students and local residents. In September, three more will be completed near Rīgas Dārzciema Secondary School, Rīgas Itas Kozakēvičas Polish Secondary School and Rīgas 45th Secondary School.
